When the cold calls you out: discover Positano’s Winter Festival

Fondue, soups, broths and hearty winter dishes make evenings in Jurerê in_ a special dining experience.

Some days, all it takes is a drop in temperature to spark the craving: sit down at a beautifully set table, choose good company, and order something warm and delicious that can turn dinner into a memorable evening.

Winter has this effect. It changes the way we think about food, makes us more eager to share, and gives a meal a whole new meaning. It’s not just about eating, but about enjoying the evening, chatting a little longer, trying new flavors, and letting time pass around the table.

With this spirit, Positano presents its Winter Festival, running from July 11 to August 30. During this time, the restaurant in Jurerê in_ offers two experiences created especially for the season: weekend fondue dinners and a soup and broth buffet from Wednesday to Friday.

Two different offerings, with one important thing in common: making winter more enjoyable.

A winter menu to turn dinner into an evening out

Anyone who frequents Jurerê in_ knows the neighborhood has much more to offer than just summer. In the cooler months, the destination takes on a different atmosphere, perfect for those who enjoy great food, gathering around the table, and experiences that combine comfort and flavor.

The Positano Winter Festival was created with exactly this idea in mind. Rather than simply adapting the menu, the restaurant has created complete experiences, each with its own format, days, and pairings.

From Wednesday to Friday, soups and broths take center stage. On Saturdays and Sundays, fondue is the star of the evening.

That way, each visit can offer something different. During the week, enjoy a rotating selection of hot dishes and sides. On weekends, enjoy an experience that starts with savory fondue, continues with a main course, and ends with sweet fondue.

It’s the kind of winter menu that’s about more than just the food. It creates an occasion.

Fondue to share and linger over

Few dishes are as suited to winter as fondue. Perhaps because it has everything the season calls for: warm food, a shared table, and a more relaxed way to enjoy a meal.

At the Positano Winter Festival, fondue is served on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 p.m.

The price is R$169.00 per person and includes savory fondue, your choice of a main course, and sweet fondue with accompaniments.

The evening begins with savory fondue, served to share. Then, each guest chooses one of the main course options prepared to complete the experience: tortellini with ossobuco ragù; carbonara pasta; or leek risotto with filet mignon escalope and demi-glace.

To finish, sweet fondue is served with fruit and accompaniments that make dessert even more special.

The experience also includes a complimentary glass of wine or sparkling wine, adding to the atmosphere that goes so well with a winter evening. The result is a complete dining experience, perfect for anyone looking to go out for dinner or enjoy a meal that turns the evening into a lasting memory. It’s a great choice for couples, families, friends or anyone who enjoys sharing delicious food around a table with no rush to leave.

Soups and broths to discover a different flavor with every visit

During the week, the Winter Festival offers something different: a soup and broth buffet served Wednesday through Friday from 7 p.m.

Each evening, four recipes are selected from the menu. This means the experience may vary from day to day, making every visit an opportunity to try new combinations.

The buffet is R$79.00 per person. There is also an option for R$89.00 per person, which includes a glass of wine. The selection may include well-known classics, delicate creams, and heartier preparations, such as:

Chicken soup;

Capeletti in brodo;

Heart of palm soup;

Cabotiá squash cream soup with ginger;

Brazilian corn grits with pork ribs;

Sweet potato cream;

Spinach and ricotta cream;

Cream of mushroom soup;

Pumpkin soup with dried beef;

Minestrone soup;

Cauliflower and Parmesan cream soup;

Baroa potato soup with Blumenau sausage;

Pea soup with mint and bacon.

As the menu rotates, please check which flavors are available on the day. This keeps the experience fresh and celebrates a variety of dishes that are perfect for winter.

In addition to the four evening options, the buffet includes sides that let everyone create their own combination. The bread selection features focaccia, artisan baguette, Italian bread, grissini and house-made toast. Crunchy options include croutons and bacon. To finish, choose from grated Parmesan, shaved Parmesan, parsley, chives, extra-virgin olive oil and black pepper.

That way, the same broth can take on new textures and flavors depending on the accompaniments you choose. It’s a versatile, comforting experience and especially appealing to those who enjoy sampling a little of each recipe.

During the Winter Festival, this ambiance becomes even more closely connected to the season. The lighting, the wine, the hot dishes and the pace of the meal come together to create an evening that goes beyond simply going out to eat.

For local residents, the festival is a chance to discover something new to do during the week or on the weekend.
